Description
1990-91 Eric Desjardins Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Jersey
Lot #91

This road red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Eric Desjardins during the 1990-91 NHL season. Desjardins was a 17-year NHL veteran who split his services between 2 squads, the Canadiens and Flyers. During his career Eric played in better than 1100 games, scoring 575 points and being named a 2nd team NHL All Star on two occasions. He also partook in 3 NHL All Star games, a well as the Canada Cup, World Cup of Hockey and the Olympics in representation of Team Canada. Desjardins played in 3 Stanley Cup Finals, once in Philadelphia and twice with Montreal where he walked away victorious, Stanley Cup in hand in 1992-93.

The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, areas of pilling both inside and out as well as a mass of team-sewn repair work on the right arm. A fantastic looking vintage offering from the early part of Desjardins career.
