Description
1990-91 Derek Frenette Hull Olympiques Game Worn Jersey
Lot #270

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Derek Frenette during the 1990-91 QMJHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Frenette in the 6th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Frenette began his career playing college hockey at Ferris State University. After a couple of seasons in the CCHA, Derek played a year of junior hockey with the QMJHL’s Hull Olympiques before joining the IHL’s Peoria Rivermen in the spring of 1991. Derek spent four years with Peoria before playing a final season with the CoHL’s Detroit Falcons.

The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, loads of colorful board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. A well-worn example from Frenette’s only season of junior hockey.
