This road green air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Brian Bellows during the 1990-91 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Bellows with the 2nd overall pick in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This St. Catharines native made his debut in 1982-83 with the North Stars, his home for the first 10 years of his NHL career. During that time, Brian recorded a 55-goal season, two more 40-goal years, was a 2nd Team NHL All Star, played in three NHL All Star games and the 1991 Stanley Cup Finals. The 1992-93 season saw Bellows join the Montreal Canadiens where it was in large part to his 40-goal outburst that helped the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup, earning Brian his first and only Stanley Cup ring. Bellows would spend three seasons in Montreal and then did stints in Tampa Bay, Anaheim and Washington before retiring in 1999. His career totals of 485 goals and 1022 points leave him among the elite scorers of his generation.

The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. The 1990-91 season was a special one in Minnesota as it saw the North Stars trek all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Bellows wore this sweater during that magical season as he netted 35 goals and 75 points before following that up with a torrid 10 goals and 29 points in 23 playoff games. A wonderful fresh to the hobby example that hails from the North Stars last great season and comes directly from the personal collection of Terrence Murphy.
