This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Alan Kerr during the 1990-91 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Kerr in the 4th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Kerr cracked the Isles lineup late in the 1984-85 season and he remained with the club for parts of 7 years before completing his career with stints in Detroit and Winnipeg. Despite being smaller in stature, this tough winger was happy to drop the gloves as evidenced by 6 seasons of triple digit PIMS, a career best 198 PIMS coming in 1987-88. Kerr’s 391-game NHL career saw him compile 826 PIMS.
The game wear on this size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. A nice offering from the end of this tough guy’s tenure on Long Island.
