Description
1990-91 Alain Cote Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Jersey - Retired Number
Lot #71

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Alain Cote during the 1990-91 NHL season. The Boston Bruins selected Cote in the 2nd round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Alain made his NHL debut in Boston during the 1985-86 season and spent 4 seasons with the club. Cote went on to also represent the Washington Capitals, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Quebec Nordiques over the course of his 9-year NHL career.

The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains and fine inner pilling. A nice example from Cote’s first season with the Habs, which sports the now retired player number 5 in honor of Boom Boom Geoffrian and Guy Lapointe.
