1989-90 Yves Racine Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey Rookie

This road red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Yves Racine during the 1989-90 NHL season, his rookie year. The Detroit Red Wings selected Racine in the 1st round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Racine made his NHL debut with the Wings in 1989-90 and spent 4 years with the club before moving on to represent Philadelphia, Montreal, San Jose, Calgary and Tampa Bay. His NHL career spanned 9 seasons and encompassed 508 games played. Following his NHL days, Racine continued his career in Europe where he spent 6 more years playing for Jokerit, Ingolstadt and Mannheim.

The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, material pulls and fine inner pilling. Racine appeared in just 28 games as a rookie, scoring 4 goals and adding 9 assists for 13 points while wearing this sweater during road games.
