This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Todd Hlushko during the 1989-90 OHL season. The Washington Capitals selected Hlushko in the 12th round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. This Guelph native spent a few years in the AHL and parts of a couple with the Canadian National Team before making his NHL debut in 1993-94 with the Philadelphia Flyers where he played in two games. Hlushko joined the Calgary Flames the following season and played sparingly over the next four seasons before wrapping up his NHL career with a brief stint in Pittsburgh. Todd finished up his playing days by spending a half dozen seasons in Germany.
The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and team-sewn repair work. A nice example from Hlushko’s partial season with London, during his final year of juniors.
