1989-90 Greg Parks Springfield Indians Game Worn Jersey Calder Cup Winning Jersey Photo Match
Lot #419
This home white sheen gamer by HiLi was worn by Greg Parks during the 1989-90 AHL Calder Cup winning season. After playing his college hockey at Bowling Green State University, this Edmonton native made his NHL debut in 1990-91 with the New York Islanders. Parks spent three seasons with the Islanders before playing four years for the Canadian National Team and nearly a decade overseas. In Greg’s first season out of college, he starred for the Springfield Indians where he helped lead them to their first Calder Cup in 15 years.

The sleeves on this gamer have been custom shortened for Parks. The game wear on this size XL sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, heavy inner pilling and double-digit team-sewn repairs including some trauma and subsequent repair work to the side of the crest. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Parks wearing this exact jersey during the 1989-90 season. Also shown above are video captures of Parks wearing this exact jersey during the Calder Cup winning game while he's shaking hands and the celebration. In fact, Parks scored two goals and beautifully set up the game winner in Overtime while wearing this sweater to give the Indians their first Calder Cup Championship in 15 seasons! A tremendous well-worn customized photo matched offering from the Springfield Indians 1989-90 Calder Cup winning season and Championship game.
