This road green air-knit gamer by CCM and Team Choice was worn by Gaetan Duchesne during the 1989-90 NHL season. Duchesne began his NHL career with the Washington Capitals in 1981-82. He remained with the Caps for 6 years before joining Quebec for 2 seasons in the late 1980’s. Gaetan then joined the North Stars where he spent the next 4 seasons before wrapping up his career with short stays in San Jose and Florida. Gaetan took one trip to the Stanley Cup Finals, that with the North Stars in 1990-91, where they fell to the Lemieux led Pittsburgh Penguins. Sadly, Duchesne died of a heart attack at the age of 44 just a few years ago.

The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling and some team-sewn repair work to reinforce the fight strap. Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since we saw the North Stars green jerseys take to the ice.
