This home white knit gamer by CCM & Steichens was worn by Eric Means during the 1989-90 WCHA season. Means, a native of Rochester, MN spent 4 seasons on the University of Minnesota blueline spanning 1989-94, including his redshirted season in 1990-91. Following his playing days, Means spent 14 years behind the benches for Mankato State University and Minnesota State University – Mankato.
Means wore the number 28 as a freshman before switching to the number 8 as a sophomore. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, areas of fine pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs including a number that reside where the team implemented a nameplate change. Also worthy of mention is the removal of the CCM logo from the back hem.
