These exciting items are being offered to the hobby for the first time via the Fall 2020 Auction, exclusively at GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET.

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Dave McLlwain during the 1989-90 NHL season. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected McLlwain in the 9th round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. This Seaforth, ONT native made his NHL debut in 1987-88 with the Penguins where he played for a couple of seasons. McLLwain later went on to represent the Jets, Islanders, Sabres, Maple Leafs, Senators and then the Penguins and Islanders once again. Following his NHL career, McLLwain represented the Canadian National Team and spent a dozen years skating in Europe.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the Goals For Kids patch. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, material pulls, fight abuse at the stretched and stitch popped front collar and fine inner pilling. The 1989-90 season saw McLlwain put up career bests in goals with 25, points with 51 and 60 PIMS. A terrific fresh to the hobby example worn by McLlwain during his first year with the Jets and comes directly from the personal collection of Terrence Murphy.
