1988 Allen Bourbeau Team USA Olympics Game Worn Jersey
Lot #107

This white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Allen Bourbeau during the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Bourbeau in the 4th round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. This Worcester, MA native played his college hockey at Harvard University where he starred, compiling some mighty impressive scoring statistics. Considered one of the Crimson’s all-time greats, Bourbeau was elected to Harvard’s Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in the class of 2007. In each of his 3 seasons, his teams went to the NCAA Final Four, culminating with a National Championship in his final game in 1989. Bourbeau was twice a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Right in the middle of his collegiate career, Bourbeau represented Team USA in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta.

Sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the sponsorship patch. Sewn into the collar is the chain-stitched “88”. The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and heavy inner pilling. This fresh to the hobby example would make a great addition to any collection of Team USA gamers.
