This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Geordie Robertson during the 1988-89 AHL season. Robertson is the Rochester Americans single season scoring leader, having compiled 46 Goals, 73 Assists and 119 Points during the 1982-83 season. This 10-year AHL veteran spent 7 of those seasons with the Amerks and is a member of their Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 1993. His efforts in 1982-83 didn’t go unnoticed as the Buffalo Sabres called Geordie up to the NHL that year and he responded with a goal and 3 points in 5 games.
The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains and inner pilling. On the inside crest is a black sharpie autograph in Robertson’s own hand. A terrific well-worn offering of this iconic Amerk.
