GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to bring this exciting collection of game worn enforcers, tough guys and instigators to the hobby exclusively thru our Spring 2019 Auction. Many of these 10 NHL, WHA and minor league game worn jerseys have been held in a private collection since being purchased beginning nearly 20 years ago and have been out of hobby circulation ever since. Included in this group of legendary tough guys and scrappers are some extremely difficult to find players and styles, most which are being offered at auction for the first time!

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM and Syosset Sports was worn by Gerald Diduck during the 1987-89 NHL seasons. The New York Islanders selected Diduck in the 1st round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. Diduck made his NHL debut in 1984-85 with the Islanders where he played for the first 6 years of his 17-year NHL career. Diduck also went on to represent the Canadiens, Canucks, Blackhawks, Whalers, Coyotes, Maple Leafs and Stars. Diduck’s only trip to the Stanley Cup Finals came in 1994 with Vancouver where the Canucks lost a heartbreaking 7 game series. This rearguard had a mean streak as evidenced by his 1824 PIMS in 1046 combined regular season and playoff games. His single season career best of 229 PIMS came in 1991-92 with Vancouver.

The sleeves on this gamer have been custom shortened for Diduck by the team. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and trauma, material pulls, inner pilling and some reinforcement to the crest. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Diduck wearing this exact jersey circa the 1987-89 season. A well-worn customized photo matched offering by this 17-year NHL veteran.
