Description
1987-88 Stu Kulak Quebec Nordiques Game Worn Jersey
Lot #366

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Stu Kulak during the 1987-88 NHL season. The Vancouver Canucks selected Kulak in the 6th round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. He spent parts of 2 years with the Canucks before joining the Oilers dynasty during the 1986-87 season. Late that year he was dealt to the Rangers and played for them in 3 games. He next suited up for the Quebec Nordiques in 1987-88 and then finally the Winnipeg Jets in 1988-89. Around and after his NHL time, Kulak enjoyed a lengthy, nearly 2 decade long minor pro career. He finally retired from hockey following the 1999-00 season.

Offered here is Kulak’s home gamer from his only year with the Nordiques, 1987-88. The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, colorful board paint transfer from the boards at Le Collisee, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. While the sleeve numbers and fleur de lis remain in great overall condition, there has been some loss to the ‘A’ in Kulak’s surname as well as the upper part of the back player number 7.
