1987-88 Robert Nordmark St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey Rookie 8 - Photo Match
Lot #97

This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Robert Nordmark during the 1987-88 NHL season, his rookie year. The St. Louis Blues selected Nordmark in the 3rd round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. This native of Lulea, Sweden spent a half dozen years in the SEL prior to beginning his NHL career in 1987-88 with the Blues. After one season in St. Louis, Nordmark joined the Vancouver Canucks where he played for the next 3 seasons, thus encompassing his NHL career. Nordmark returned to Europe a year later where he spent the next decade plus before retiring following the 2003-04 SEL season.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the Barclay Plager “8” patch to commemorate the passing of the St. Louis Blues legend. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, material pulls, inner pilling and nearly 20 team-sewn and material backed repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Nordmark wearing this exact jersey during the 1987-88 season. A well-worn photo matched offering complete with the Plager patch and worn by Nordmark during his rookie season.
