Description
1987-88 Cliff Ronning St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey - “8” Barclay Plager
Lot #32
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Cliff Ronning during the 1987-88 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Ronning in the 7th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This Burnaby, BC native represented the Canadian Nation Team for a couple of seasons and made his NHL debut during the 1985-86 playoffs. Ronning spent the first five-years of his 18-year NHL career with the Blues. This 5’ 8” Center went on to represent the Canucks, Coyotes, Predators, Kings, Wild and Islanders before hanging up the skates. Cliff scored 306 goals and 869 points over the course of his 1137 game NHL career.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the Barclay Plager “8” patch. The game wear on this size 48 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is that the name on back is not original to the jersey. A well-worn Plager patched early career offering by this 300-Goal scorer.
