Description
1986 Yvon Corriveau Washington Capitals Game Worn Jersey Rookie
Lot #88

This road red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Yvon Corriveau during the 1986 NHL season, his rookie year. The Washington Capitals selected Corriveau in the 1st round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. Corriveau made his NHL debut in 1985-86 with the Capitals where he played for parts of 5 seasons before joining the Hartford Whalers during the 1989-90 campaign. Yvon spent most of the next handful of years with the Whalers, other than a brief stint with the San Jose Sharks in 1992-93. Following his 9-year NHL career, Corriveau spent time in the IHL and in Europe, finally retiring in 2005.

The game wear on this sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. There is significant broken stitching on the nameplate, numbers and the lettering. Removed from the collar and lost to history is the born on and manufacturers tagging.
