This road green mesh gamer by CCM and Steichens was worn by Ron Wilson during the 1986-87 NHL season. After playing his college hockey at Providence University, in addition to a stint on the US Olympic Team, Wilson began his NHL career with the Maple Leafs in 1977-78. After 3 seasons with Toronto, Wilson went to Europe for a few seasons before returning to the NHL with the Minnesota North Stars where he played for the final 4 years of his 7-year NHL career. Wilson is perhaps best known for his coaching contribution, having spent the majority of the past quarter century behind various NHL benches.
The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a few team-sewn repairs.
