Description
1986-87 Randy Ladouceur Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey
Lot #120

This home white knit gamer by CCM and Eastside was worn by Randy Ladouceur during the 1986-87 NHL season. Ladouceur began his NHL career in 1982-83 with the Detroit Red Wings where he spent the first 5 years of his career. During the 1986-87 campaign, Randy joined the Hartford Whalers and spent parts of 7 seasons wearing the Hartford colors. Ladouceur joined the expansion Anaheim Mighty Ducks in their inaugural season of play and spent 3 seasons at the Pond before announcing his retirement. Since hanging up the skates, Randy has spent much of the past 20 years behind the NHL and AHL benches.

Sewn into the collar of this gamer is the born on date tagging that reads “86-04”. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, fine inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn repairs. This was likely Randy’s last jersey as a member of the Red Wings, prior to being dealt to the Whalers on January 12, 1987.
