This road red knit gamer by CCM and Gunzo’s was worn by Gary Nylund during the 1986-87 NHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Nylund with the 3rd overall pick in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This tough as nails defenseman spent the first 4 seasons of his career in Toronto before joining the Blackhawks in 1986-87 for parts of 3 seasons. Nylund spent the last 5 years of his career as a member of the New York Islanders. In 11 NHL seasons, Nylund played in 608 games where he racked up 1235 PIMS including a single season best of 208 PIMS in 1987-88 with the Hawks.
