Description
1986-87 Derek Laxdal Newmarket Saints Game Worn Jersey
Lot #255
This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Derek Laxdal during the 1986-87 AHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Laxdal in the 8th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This winger began his NHL career with the Maple Leafs in 1984-85 and spent 4 seasons with the club prior to joining the New York Islanders in 1989-90 where he played for a couple of seasons. Surrounding his NHL days were a lengthy minor-pro career that included 8 seasons in the AHL and a handful in Europe.

The game wear on this size 50 sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, a well-salted fight strap and heavy inner pilling.
