This road red mesh gamer by CCM and Gunzo’s was worn by Bill Watson during the 1986-87 NHL playoffs. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Watson in the 4th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Watson played his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he scored an incomparable 49 goals and 109 points in 1984-85 and won the Hobey Baker Award. Watson made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks in 1985-86. Bill spent four years in the NHL, all of them with Chicago. After his playing days, Watson went into the coaching profession where he spent 8 seasons behind the UMD bench.

Sewn into the collar of this gamer is the born on date “86-01”. The game wear on this sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected. This Hobey Baker Award winner’s gamers have been a pretty tough get for collectors through the years. A nice offering that features the prettiest logo in all of sports.
