This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by Gary Leeman during the 1985-86 AHL season. Leeman was the Leafs’ 2nd round selection in the 1982 NHL entry draft. He would spend the first 10 years of his 14 year NHL career with Toronto. During the 1989-90 season he stunned the hockey world with a 51 goal outburst, becoming only the 2nd Leafs player to ever record a 50-goal season.
Sewn to the back hem of this fantastic gamer is the AHL’s 50 year anniversary patch. Game wear is solid on this more than 2 decade old sweater. There are stick marks, board burns, plenty of colorful board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. A tremendous minor league example of one of only 3 men to ever net 50 in a season while wearing a Leafs uniform.
