Lot #67

This home white mesh gamer by Pedersons was worn by Paul Boutilier during the 1984-85 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Boutiler in the 1st round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. Boutilier made his NHL debut in 1981-82 and spent five seasons with the Islanders becoming a Stanley Cup Champion during their Dynasty years of the early 1980’s. Paul later went on to play for the Bruins, North Stars, Rangers and Jets before wrapping up his 8 NHL seasons.

The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops and rust and fine inner pilling. Boutilier put forth his best season while wearing this sweater during the 1984-85 season at the Nassau Coliseum. He scored 12 goals and 35 points to go along with 90 PIMS from his position on the point.
