This 12-card safety set was sponsored by the Southland Corporation in cooperation with the Fire Marshalls Assn. of Minnesota and the Minnesota North Stars. The cards measures 2 5/8" by 4 1/8". The front has a color action photo enframed by a thin green border on white card stock. The green box below the picture gave the uniform number, player's name, position, the team name, and team logo. The card number on the back was sandwiched between the North Stars' and 7-Eleven logos. The back also had basic biographical information, career scoring statistics, and a fire prevention tip in a yellow box on the lower portion of the card back.

The set includes:  Dino Ciccarelli, Neal Broten, Paul Holmgren, Gilles Meloche, Brian Bellows, Gordie Roberts, Steve Payne, Dennis Maruk, Willie Plett, Craig Hartsburg, Keith Acton and Tom McCarthy.  The set is in beautiful condition with the exception of the Ciccarelli which is just VG.
