1984-85 Mike Sands Minnesota North Stars Game Worn Jersey - Rookie

This home white mesh gamer by CCM and Steichens was worn by Mike Sands during the 1984-85 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Sands in the 2nd round of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. Mike did two brief stints with the North Stars, once in 1984-85 and the other in 1986-87, playing 3 games during each call up. Unfortunately Sands lost 5 games without recording a win and posted a 5.16 GAA in his 6 NHL games.

The game wear on this rookie sweater is on the lighter side with some stick and puck marks along with some inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is evidence of a plate change on the reverse. A tough get for the North Stars completist.
