Description
1983-84 Pat Graham & Mid 1980s Todd Gill Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey
Lot #124
This blue knit gamer by Maska was worn by Pat Graham during the 1983-84 NHL season. The Leafs then recycled this jersey for pre-season use by Todd Gill during the mid 1980’s. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Graham in the 6th round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Garaham’s brief NHL career consisted of 2 seasons with the Penguins spanning 1981-83 and a final season with the Maple Leafs in 1983-84.

The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Gill in the 2nd round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. Gill spent the first 12 years of a 19-year NHL career with the Maple Leafs. He would later go on to represent the Sharks, Blues, Red Wings, Coyotes, Avalanche and the Blackhawks before retiring after 1007 games played. Gill was part of the Leafs defense during their back-to-back runs to the Conference Finals in 1993 and 1994 and will forever be associated with those exciting squads.

Removed from the right breast of this gamer is the Toronto 150th anniversary patch. A custom heavily reinforced fight strap can be found sewn to the lower back player numbers. The game wear on this size 50 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, staining, trauma, inner pilling and more than a dozen team-sewn repairs. A nice vintage Leafs sweater.
