Description
1982-83 Ric Nattress Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Jersey Rookie
Lot #61

This road red knit gamer by Maska was worn by Ric Nattress during the 1982-83 NHL season, his rookie year. The Montreal Canadiens selected Nattress in the 2nd round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Nattress made his NHL debut with Montreal in 1982-83. Ric called the Montreal Forum home for his first 3 years in the NHL before joining the St. Louis Blues in 1985-86. Following a couple of seasons in St. Louis, Nattress joined the Calgary Flames where he won his first and only Stanley Cup in 1989. Following parts of 5 seasons with the Flames, Nattress wrapped up his 11–year NHL career with brief stints in Toronto and Philadelphia.

The game wear on this size 52 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, stitch pops, material pulls, heavy inner pilling and approximately 30 bullet style team-sewn repairs. Sewn to the inside is the old-school blue and white garter style fight strap. A beautiful vintage offering that features terrific game use and hails from this Stanley Cup winning defenseman’s rookie season.
