This home white knit gamer by Maska was first worn by Frank Nigro during the 1982-83 NHL season, his rookie season. The jersey was later recycled to Wes Jarvis for use during the 1987-88 preseason. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Nigro in the 5th round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. Nigro made his NHL debut with Toronto in 1982-83. He would spend just two seasons in the NHL, both with Toronto before heading to Europe to complete his playing career.

The Washington Capitals selected Wes Jarvis in the 14th round of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. Jarvis made his NHL debut with the Capitals in 1979-80. He spent 9 seasons in the NHL where he represented Washington, Minnesota, Los Angeles and Toronto for his final 4 seasons.
