This home white knit gamer by Maska was worn by Wes Jarvis during the 1981-82 NHL season. The Washington Capitals selected Jarvis in the 14th round of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. Jarvis made his NHL debut in 1979-80 with the Capitals where he played for three seasons. Following his time in Washington, Jarvis went on to represent the Minnesota North Stars, Los Angeles Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs where he spent the final four seasons of his 9-year NHL career.
This jersey has been custom shortened by the team for Jarvis. The game wear on this size 46 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, plenty of board paint transfer, stitch pops, material pulls and inner pilling. Removed from the upper verso and lost to history is the player nameplate. A nice, customized vintage sweater.
