This home white dureen gamer by Sandow SK was worn by Graeme Nicolson during the 1981-82 NHL season. The Boston Bruins selected Nicolson in the 2nd round of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft. This North Bay native made his NHL debut in 1978-79 with the Bruins. Nicolson next played a season with the Colorado Rockies and one final year with the New York Rangers, completing his brief three-year NHL career.
The game wear on this size XL sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, material pulls, a reinforced custom fight strap, exterior pilling, inner pilling and a couple of team-sewn repairs. The nameplate is all original and a treat most worthy of mention. A beautiful well-worn short-lived style, featuring a sewn crest and numbers and hailing from the Colorado Rockies last NHL season.
