This road red knit gamer by CCM and Cosby was worn by Dan Dorion circa the mid-late 1980’s during NHL play. The New Jersey Devils selected Dorion in the 12th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This Astoria, NY native played 4 years of college hockey at Western Michigan University before jumping right into the New Jersey Devils lineup in 1985-86. Dorion played parts of two seasons with New Jersey and also spent parts of 4 years playing in the AHL with the Maine Mariners and Utica Devils. In 1989-90 Dorion headed to Europe where he played for most of the next 5 seasons.

The sleeves on this gamer have been customized with extra panels added. Sewn into the collar is the born on date “85 – 10”. The game wear on this size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, inner pilling and a fight strap that has succumbed to salt and rust. A name change exists with outlines appearing beneath and around the directly applied lettering on the upper verso while the CCM logo on the rear hem has been cut away.
