1977 Slap Shot Charlestown Chiefs Film Worn Jersey Player #4 Originally Donated by Brad Sullivan (Moe Wanchuk)
Lot #561

This blue Charlestown Chiefs dureen jersey by Rawlings was worn during the filming of the greatest hockey movie ever made “Slap Shot”. While this jersey was worn by an extra in the film, it was taken home by Brad Sullivan who played Moe Wanchuk.

Sullivan donated the jersey for a fundraising auction for Louise Arters, who played one of the “Sparkle Twins” in the movie along with her twin sister Janet, who were in love with Billy Charlebois in the film. Arters had suffered from multiple sclerosis since 1985 and the proceeds were in attempt to raise $50,000 to buy Louise a wheelchair accessible van. Sadly, Louise passed away in December of 2012.

This blue Rawlings jersey, size 48, has “Chiefs” across the front. The player number “4” is on both sleeves and the back. On the left shoulder is the Charlestown All-America City patch. A great keepsake from hockey’s greatest movie with incredible provenance.
