Description
1976-77 Randy Manery Atlanta Flames Game Worn Jersey - Rare TV Nameplate
Lot #28

This home white dureen gamer by Rawlings was worn by Randy Manery during the 1976-77 NHL season. Manery was an undrafted free agent who began his career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1970-71. Following 2 partial years in the Motor City, Manery joined the expansion Atlanta Flames and became a mainstay on their blueline for the next 5 seasons. Manery joined the Los Angeles Kings in 1977-78, where he spent his final 3 seasons. Randy was an NHL All Star in 1972-73, representing the expansion Atlanta Flames.

The game wear on this size 48 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, fine inner pilling and a team-sewn repair. Sewn to the upper verso is an all-original and pretty darn rare television nameplate. Less than a handful of these are known to exist in the hobby and this is the first time that we’ve had the pleasure to bring one to auction. A fantastic opportunity to acquire a true 1970’s game worn rarity; a home Atlanta Flames dureen with an original TV nameplate!
