Description
1976-77 Larry Brown Los Angeles Kings Game Worn Jersey
Lot #67

This home gold mesh gamer by Goodman & Sons was worn by Larry Brown during the 1976-77 NHL season. Brown made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in 1969-70. During his 2nd season, the Rangers sent him to the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for Pete Stemkowski. Following that partial season with Detroit, Brown spent a year with the Philadelphia Flyers before finding a permanent home with the Los Angeles Kings. Larry joined the Kings in 1972-73 and spent the remaining 6 years of his NHL career on the Kings blueline.

Sewn into the hem of this gamer is the Goodman & Sons tag. The game wear on this size 50 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops and fine inner pilling. This beautiful vintage purple and gold gamer is completely fresh to the hobby, is now more than 40 years removed from the ice and would make a great addition to any 1970’s game worn collection.
