1975-76 Topps Tom Williams - Deceased
Lot #378
1975-76 Topps Autographed card of Tom Williams. Williams was the first American born hockey player to play regularly in the NHL since the retirement of Frank Brimsek in 1950.  He was born in Duluth, Minnesota and was a member of the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team that defeated Czechoslovakia and won the Gold Medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics.

Tom played 13 seasons in the NHL for the Bruins, North Stars, Seals and Capitals.  He also played in the WHA for the New England Whalers.  In 1981, Williams was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame.  Williams died on February 8, 1992, at the age of 51. The card is beautiful and the signature is a 10.
