Description
1975-76 Randy Legge WHA Cleveland Crusaders Game Worn Jersey
Lot #38
This purple dureen gamer by Rawlings was worn by Randy Legge during the 1975-76 WHA season. Legge spent about a decade in the minors, playing with the Kitchener Rangers, Fort Wayne Comets, Omaha Knights, Buffalo Bisons, Seattle Totems and Providence Reds. Legge made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in 1972-73. Randy began his WHA career in 1974-75 with the Michigan Stags/Baltimore Blades franchise. He also played for the Winnipeg Jets, the Cleveland Crusaders and San Diego Mariners before retiring in 1977.

Sewn into the collar of this vintage WHA sweater is the Rawlings tag. The game wear on this heavy size 48 dureen is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. The original loop style fight strap remains sewn perfectly to the back, just above the hem striping. A well-worn all-sewn on old-school WHA dureen!
