1974-75 OPC Marc Boileau Pittsburgh Penguins Autographed Card – Deceased

Boileau began and ended his career in the IHL, starting with the Indianapolis Chiefs in 1956-57, playing two seasons and ending with the Ft. Wayne Komets for three seasons in the early 1970’s. In between he was a fixture in the WHL, playing for the Seattle Totems, Hershey Bears and Los Angeles Blades. Boileau did play in the NHL for one season, with the Detroit Red Wings in 1961-62.

After his playing career was completed, Boileau went into coaching, leading the Fort Wayne Komets to the Turner Cup Championship in 1972-73. Boileau coached for three seasons in the NHL, all with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also coached in the WHA with the Quebec Nordiques, leading them to the Avco Cup in 1976-77.

Boileau died on December 27, 2000 at the age of 68.

Our consignor went to a hockey game every night and had all autographs signed personally. The signature and card are in beautiful condition.
