This road red mesh gamer by Champion was worn by Bob Malcolm during the 1973 AHL season. Malcolm was a Toronto born defenseman who had a 6-year minor pro career that spanned 1969-70 thru 1974-75. Bob played primarily in the AHL and the EHL, where he represented the Clinton Comets and the St. Petersburg Suns. Malcolm spent parts of all 6 of his professional seasons playing with the Rochester Americans, the only AHL that he ever skated for.
The game wear on this vintage size 46 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is the name on back that has been removed. A nice vintage AHL gamer.
