Description
1973-74 Dave Dunn Vancouver Canucks Game Worn Jersey Rookie
Lot #40
This road blue dureen gamer by Rawlings was worn by Dave Dunn during the 1973-74 NHL season, his rookie year. Dunn was an undrafted defenseman who spent time with the Rochester Americans and Seattle Totems prior to beginning his NHL career in 1973-74 with Vancouver. After a full year with the Canucks, and just a game into the follwing season, Dunn joined the Toronto Maple Leafs where he played for the next two seasons. Dunn’s final stop was in the WHA where he played for 2 years on the Bobby Hull led Winnipeg Jets. Following his playing days, Dunn served as an assistant coach for the Canucks from 1978-81.

Sewn into the inner hip of this gamer is the old-style Rawlings, size and wash tagging. Nice game wear exists on this size 50 sweater with heavy amounts of inner pilling found evenly dispersed throughout. This nicely worn vintage dureen was donned by Dunn as an NHL rookie and represents the early days of Vancouver Canucks franchise in the National Hockey League.
