1972-73 OPC autographed card of #28 Gump Worsley. Gump played parts of 21 NHL seasons with the Rangers, Canadiens and North Stars and, when he retired, had played more games at goal then anyone except Terry Sawchuk and Glenn Hall. He won the Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1965, 1966, 1968 and 1969 and won the Vezina trophy in 1966 and 1968. He was twice a first or second team NHL All Star and played in 4 All Star games. He was one of the last two goaltenders to play without a mask doing so until his final NHL season. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1980.
Worsley suffered a heart attack on January 22, 2007 and died four days later at age 77. The card has a light crease but the signature is a 10.
