1969-70 Topps Carl Brewer Detroit Red Wings Autographed Card Deceased

Brewer began his career with the Maple Leafs in 1958. He played 8 seasons with the Leafs and was named a First Team NHL All Star in 1963 and a Second Team NHL All Star in 1962 and 1965. He was also a Second Team NHL All Star in 1970 with the Red Wings. He won three Stanley Cup Championships with the Maple Leafs in 1962, 1963 and 1964.

After playing with the Canadian National Team in 1966 and 1967, Brewer played one season in the Finnish League. Brewer returned to the NHL in 1969-70 with the Red Wings, played two seasons in St. Louis with the Blues, one season in the WHA with the Toros and then returned to the Maple Leafs for 20 Games in the 1979-80 season.

Brewer died in 2001 after battling heart problems, he was 62.

Our consignor went to a hockey game every night and had all autographs signed personally. The signature and card are in beautiful condition.
