This group contains 2 game used sticks from defenseman Ulf Samuelsson. Ulfie will certainly go down as one of the most despised players of the modern era, assuming he wasn’t on your team. He patrolled the blueline for 16 NHL seasons and was a big part of the Pittsburgh Penguins 2 Stanley Cup winning teams in the early 1990’s.
In a 1000+ game career Ulfie amassed nearly 2500 PIMS. He may be best remembered historically for derailing the Hall of Fame career of beloved Boston Bruins forward Cam Neely with what most agree was a cheap shot to Neely’s leg. Ulf was a member of Team NHL in Rendezvous ‘87 against the Russians and also represented his native Sweden in the 1991 Canada Cup and the 1998 Olympic Games.
