This home white knit gamer by CCM and Syosset Sports was worn by Brad Dalgarno circa the mid 1980’s. Dalgarno came onto the scene in 1985-86 playing 2 games for the Isles. In the 1987 playoffs, Brad skated in 1 contest and then finally in 1987-88 he received his first extended playing time, spending half a season with the big club. All told Brad would spend 10 years on Long Island, the Islanders being the only NHL team he would play for. Brad retired following the 1995-96 campaign.
This home knit sweater shows game use consisting of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. A custom fight strap is worthy of mention as is a nameplate change, as this gamer was recycled from a previous player to a Dalgarno.
