This road red dureen gamer by Rawlings was worn by Mike Bloom during the mid 1970’s. Bloom was an original member of the Washington Capitals who was traded to Detroit late in that disasterous first season. Mike spent the remainder of the 1974-75 season as well as the 1975-76 and 1976-77 seasons with the Red Wings where he wrapped up his NHL career.
Sewn perfectly in the neck of this gamer is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tagging. The game use is solid and includes washed out bloodstains, nice pilling both inside and out, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired holes and a few team-sewn repairs. This would make for a great acquisition pleasing either the Red Wings or type style collector. It is a beautiful 30-year old example.
