This road red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Doug Wilson during the late 1980’s. Wilson was a high 1st round pick in both the 1977 NHL and WHA entry drafts. After some negotiation, he chose to begin his career with the Chicago Blackhawks over the WHA’s Indianapolis Racers. What a career it would be; 16 seasons all told, the first 14 of which saw him represent the Windy City. Doug presently stands as the 15th highest scoring defenseman in NHL history with 237 goals and 827 points to his credit. His finest individual season came in 1981-82, as his 39 goal 85 point effort was enough to capture his only 1st team NHL All Star selection as well as his only Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman. He was also twice a 2nd team NHL All Star and played in 7 NHL All Star games.
