This white, red and black CCM goalie blocker was game/practice worn by Kari Lehtonen. The Atlanta Thrashers selected Lehtonen with the 2nd overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. After 4 seasons in the Finnish Elite League, Lehtonen joined the Thrashers in 2003-04. He tended goal for parts of 5 seasons in Atlanta before joining the Dallas Stars in 2009-10. Last season Kari appeared in 69 games between the pipes for the Stars. He is continuing to play a large portion of the Stars games again in 2011-12. Lehtonen, a native of Finland, stands 6’ 4” tall and has the distinction of being the highest drafted European goaltender in NHL history.
