This blue knit gamer by CCM was worn during Hartford Whalers practice skates circa the 1990’s. The Center Ice logo and team crest are sewn to this size 60 goalie cut jersey. Best of all is that the wear on this jersey is absolutely consistent with all of the Sean Burke Hartford Whalers game jerseys that we’ve handled over the years. The great pilling in the neck and wrist areas of this practice jersey are a dead-on match.

Burke’s career lasted 17 seasons which is rather unusual for a goalie and says quite a bit about his abilities. Sean’s time in Hartford spanned from 1992-93 thru the franchise’s final season of 1996-97. Sean was the face of the franchise and carried the bulk of the work load for each of those seasons. A great defunct find for a Whalers enthusiast.
