Description
Guy Carbonneau Dallas Stars CCM Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Skates Last NHL Game Autographed Guy Carbonneau Letter
Lot #313
These skates come directly from the collection of Guy Carbonneau. A letter from Mr. Carbonneau will accompany your purchase.

As stated by Guy, these CCM skates were game worn by Guy Carbonneau during his final NHL game as a member of the Dallas Stars which would have been game 6 of the 2000 Stanley Cup Finals. The Montreal Canadiens selected Carbonneau in the 3rd round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. Guy made his NHL debut in 1980-81 with Les Habitants and spent the first 13 years of his 19-year, 1318-game NHL career with Montreal. Following 2 Stanley Cup titles with the Canadiens, Carbonneau spent a season with the St. Louis Blues before joining the Dallas Stars where he spent the final 5 years of his storied career. During his final 2 years with the Stars, Carbonneau made back-to-back trips to the Stanley Cup Finals and skated away with his 3rd Stanley Cup ring. In the tradition of Bob Gainey before him, Carbonneau took over the reigns as the NHL’s best defensive forward and was so recognized with 3 Frank J. Selke Trophies spanning 1988 to 1992.

These CCM skates have the player name “Carbonneau Guy” on the bottom. Also on the bottom is the player number “21” written in black sharpie. On the side of each skate is an autograph in Guy’s own hand. These skates were worn by Guy in his last NHL game, a Stanley Cup Finals game to boot!
